Just read a press release that Nokia is still supporting the “legacy-based” mobile OS Symbian. Well for the time being that is. As soon as Nokia officially declares the consumption of it’s romance with Microsoft that will be the death-blow for the Symbian consortium. Here’s a question I can’t answer – why didn’t Symbian become the Android of today? Perhaps it’s because of Nokia’s overbearing influence in the Symbian consortium that lead to its pending demise.
