So Nokia and Microsoft have announced a union of their products … MS’s yet to be proven mobile Windows 7 OS and Nokia (remember them), lack luster range of phones. So this will surely be the death blow for Symbian – it is very difficult to see how this OS manufacturer will survive without one of it’s key supporters. Android has really tilt the odds now with MS seeing Nokia as their partner for Windows 7 mobile devices.
Well, the question we are all asking ourselves “will it work”. Now I don’t want to sound overly negative in all of my posts, but actually, just because it is Microsoft who can win any war of attrition, I do think this alliance has the legs to pull it off. The Corporate universe will slowly migrate towards thie new hardware/software combo, so I would imagine Blackberry has the most to lose in this space.
